Killing Normal: How the Desire for Normalcy Ruins Self-Love

The "New Normal".  How many of us are sick of hearing or reading that phrase?
To most of us in the Ag Industry we all thought that the "New Normal" was fighting wet weather and wet ground trying to plant and harvest crops.  Wow how things have changed?  This spring the weather has seemed to turn away from the "New Normal" of the last two years to actually working and planting ground that is much closer to where we would hope "Normal" would be.  While the temperatures have been a bit on the cool side at least the moisture levels have allowed much of our spring work to be done on, or even ahead of schedule.  Now lets hope that we can get "Normal" heat and "Normal" moisture so that the crops that got planted will grow and produce the crops we need.

Lets pray that the "New Normal" that our government and media are talking about goes away and does not become "Normal".  Lets pray that our "Normal" is going to church, watching our kids show cattle at the fairs, bragging about our corn yields over breakfast at a local restaurant, receiving business sustaining  prices for our milk, meat and crops, and shaking the hands of eachother after we talk at the mill, like "Normal" should be.

Mill Expansion

We are growing to serve you better!
New mill planned for startup in Summer of 2021...

Construction has started on our new facility by our current grain bins on Spruce Court in Addison. This new mill will increase our capacity for feed production and improve the efficiency of bagging and bulk truck load out operations. With the purchase of new pellet making equipment we can expand our services and offer new quality products.

Plans for the existing Allenton mill are not finalized but we will continue to use it for grain storage, drying, roasting and grinding.

We are excited to move our business forward and we will post new pictures as this project progresses.
